The man accused of shooting and killing a Terre Haute police officer now faces federal charges.
According to the U-S Attorney’s Indianapolis office, 44 year old Shane Meehan is now charged with murder of a Federal agent.
Terre Haute Detective Greg Ferency, a 30 year department veteran, had been attached to an FBI task force for 11 years,
Documents also accuse Meehan of hurling a Molotov Cocktail at the FBI field office in the Terre Haute federal building before the shooting.
