Evansville police responded to a shots-fired call the afternoon of July 4.
Dispatch received several calls about one man shooting at another in the lot of Dollar General near Pollack and Weinbach.
officers found surveillance video which shows the suspect arrive in a car and go into the Dollar General store for a few minutes.
He then came out of he store and had a verbal exchange with someone before pulling a gun and shooting.
He finally got back into his car nd left.
The victim says he didn’t know the suspect and didn’t know why he was shot.
The suspect, 27 year old Devin Hobby, admitted to being the shooter and was jailed.
