An Owensboro man finds lodging in the Daviess County Jail after he leads sheriff’s deputies on a short chase.
Deputies tried to pull a car over on Parrish Avenue a little after one o’clock this (Tues) morning.
They suspected that the driver was drunk
. The car drove off but eventually stopped at West 4th and Plum where the driver tried to run away, but they caught him.
Roger Douglas faces charges including DUI, and those related to the gun and drugs found on the car’s floorboard.
