Both horses and fans returned to Ellis Park Sunday for the opening of the first racing meet in two years.
There were eight races on the card for opening day, as fans were once again allowed trackside.
It was considerably different than last year when fans weren’t allowed in the grandstand or the apron in response to COVID 19.
All those restrictions have been lifted.
