Yesterday, Henderson was set up for WC Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival.
According to organizers, it has become one of the largest free music festivals in the nation.
They were excited for this year’s festival, as last year’s had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Fair managers say they’ve had people from England and out of the country come over here every year for this festival, so people are ready to get out,
Kenny Perkins says they’ll likely be the first in the area to have a big festival, so hopefully, it’ll be a home run.
The festival is continuing to run through Saturday.
