If you were traveling near the Ohio River on Wednesday and noticed some first responder boats on the water, well, they were practicing.
Police and fire departments, conservation officers and coast guard vessels came to practice scenarios.
They included approaching barges, man-overboard drills, active shooter situations, touch and go’s and other episodes they could face at any time.
