Multiple local media reported this week that the company Alorica has shut down in Owensboro some weeks ago.
That has turned out to be untrue..
The company, which was supposed to create about 800 jobs in Daviess County, says it has not shut down it’s business, but has permitted employees of is call center to continue to work from home.
The company has reportedly moved out of its building which its occupied since 2017. in Frederica Street.
Alorica worked out of three of the five floors.
