One man’s in jail and another is in hospital after a car chase ends in a brief stand-off.
Vanderburgh sheriff’s deputies say the series of events began Thursday when they tried to stop Patrick Blackwell on Fulton Avenue.
But Blackwell drove off, and at one point threw a gun out of the car.
A passenger in the car jumped out and wound up with skull fractures.
There was a brief stand-off at the end of the chase, after which Blackwell was arrested.
