The Posey County branch of the Indiana Department of Child Services notified the sheriff’s department yesterday of a physical abuse allegation.
It happened in the 2000 block of East Mackey Ferry Road.
Arriving deputies saw two of the three children there with significant facial bruising.
The mother, 27 year old Darbie Prial of Mt. Vernon was believed to be the cause.
The three kids, ages 4, 2, and 8-months, were taken to care by the Child Services Department after medical checks.
Prial was arrested on two felony counts.
