After a full three-day trial, an Evansville mother has been found guilty of neglect in the death of her infant son.
Chelsea Marksberry is charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death.
She also admitted to the habitual offender sentencing enhancement after the verdict.
Her son died in January of 2020.
The autopsy report showed that the baby died of multiple blunt force trauma.
Marksberry will be sentenced in the Vanderburgh County Circuit Court at 10AM on July 9th.
