Evansville Fire Department units did battle with a house fire overnight.
Crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of Joan Place just east of Kentucky Avenue just after midnight.
It took them about 45 minutes to knock down the flames.
It’s unclear whether anyone was at home at the time.
Investigators are on the scene trying to find out what started the fire.
