At Holiday World on Friday, a roller coaster returned to its station with a female passenger found to be unresponsive.
She was given first aid by Holiday World EMTs before being taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital where she died a short time later.
Holiday World managers say the ride was given a thorough inspection and was found to be operating according to design, but it remained closed the rest of the evening.
