4 people were taken to the hospital after a shooting on the south side of Evansville late Thursday afternoon.
EPD Officers responded to the 800 block of East Riverside Drive near Shadewood Avenue in reference to a shots fired call around 5:50 p.m.
EPD officials say they believe a fight possibly transpired before the shooting happened, which led to several people calling for help.
They have one person of interest in custody and witnesses are currently being interviewed.
Officials say one officer happened to be in the area and heard the gunshots.
