Mesker Park Zoo will now allow people with SNAP benefits to buy a zoo membership for only five dollars. This was made possible through a grant, and will enable families to visit more frequently.
Executive Director Erick Beck said often families will stop in to visit one particular animal or location.
To get the discount, go to the front gate and show your SNAP benefits card.
