An Evansville man dies after being shot several times before crashing his car near Riverside and Pollack early Saturday.
19-year-old Ajayden Kahmad Ware was treated by first responders, then taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Officers found shell casings at Lodge Avenue and Riverside Drive.
They say they believe that’s where the shooting began.
That’s when police say it appears Ware then sped off until he wrecked on Pollack Ave.
The coroner says Ware died as a result as multiple gunshot wounds and confirmed the death as a homicide.
Police are asking anyone with information is asked to call the E-P-D Detective Office or the confidential WeTip line
