A local Henderson woman who has been battling COVID from the front lines was giver her keys Monday for her new habitat home.
Kay Schindler works at Deaconess Henderson within the Environmental Services department.
She and her family worked on their future house for more than 200 hours.
Habitat for Humanity is needing donations more than ever, since there has been an upward trend raising the cost of building materials.
