Hoosier educators are giving high grades to education funding that’s a part of the new state budget that’s on the verge of passage by lawmakers today.
The new spending plan will increase school funding by about four and a half percent in each of the next two years.
The Indiana General Assembly is on the brink of supporting an expansion of the controversial private school voucher program.
Passage of the budget bill will mark the end of this year’s legislative session.
