Posey County Commissioners played to a packed house Tuesday as they voted 2 to 1 in favor of updated, tougher regulations for solar farms.
The update mandates solar farms be 100 feet away from a property line, and 300 feet away from neighbor’s home.
There must also be 6 feet of tree barrier between neighbors and the solar array.
Opponents still say, though, that the updated rules don’t go far enough.
