HOPE of Evansville is receiving a grant from the State Farm Foundation.
The money will benefit HOPE’s housing counseling service programs.
HOPE officials say grants like these have gone a long way to help those families in a year when it’s been difficult to raise funds.
Snce the pandemic started, they have seen a spike in the number of people who have reached out to them to buy homes.
They have also seen an increase in the number of families that they are helping who are facing foreclosure.
