Officials with the Henshaw Community Fire Department say they are going to construct a new fire station.
The project with approved by unanimous vote of the Union County Fiscal Court.
Officials say the project would not be possible without a donation of land from Former Chief Tom Stevenson.
The project is in the the planning stages.
They’ll give updates as it moves forward.
