A 19-year-old is in jail after running from police twice. Officials first tried to stop Chase Rhoads just before midnight, but he took off, reaching speeds of 70 to 100 miles per hour.
Deputies stopped the pursuit, but Rhoads was spotted moments later.
That’s when he took off again. E-P-D says he crashed his car at the Lloyd and Weinbach.
Rhoads turned himself in hours later. He’s in jail on several charges.
