One man was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the 1400 block of Parrett Street Thursday evening.
Officials say the shooting happened slightly after 6 p.m.
The victim was taken to Deaconess Midtown and rushed into surgery.
EPD says the man’s condition is “serious.”
