Indiana State Police have confirmed that one person has died after a traffic accident at Highway 62 and Epworth Road in Warrick County.
According to Sgt. Todd Ringle, a semi and an SVU were stopped in the eastbound lane for a red light. A pickup pulling a trailer approached, but the driver told police he did not see that the light was red.
In an attempt to avoid an accident, the driver tried to pull to the right. However, he clipped the SUV, which spun into the trailer.
Two other people were injured in the accident, which happened in foggy conditions about 7:30 Tuesday morning.
