At least 12 Purdue students could face consequences including expulsion after large gatherings were reported over the weekend.
In one instance, a party with an estimated 125 people was held inside a 750-square-foot apartment.
Another party was held outdoors at an apartment complex.
Photos of the gathering appear to show lack of social distancing and face coverings.
The school says these are breaches of a Purdue pledge designed to keep students safe from COVID-19, in addition to being violations of the county’s event attendance regulations.
