The Economic Improvement District wants to paint gas meters, in a effort to spruce up the downtown area. They’re looking for artists willing to take on the task. It’s a paid position. Gas supplier CenterPoint Energy has signed off on the idea. The deadline to apply is Friday at 4 p.m.
