Henderson’s free tax preparation service is back this year.
It’s offered at 111 South Adams Street, inside the Housing Authority Building.
It’s drop off only.
You should bring a social security card for everyone in your tax filing household, your driver’s license, and all your tax documents.
A few days later, you’ll come pick up your returns and sign a form.
Returns will be electronically submitted to the federal and state government.
The service is available Monday and Tuesday afternoons, and Saturday mornings.
