Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch came tome to take the needle on Friday
Crouch took the first of two shots of the Pfizer vaccine at the Deaconess clinic in downtown Evansville.
She said afterward that she felt great and was thankful to be able to get the vaccine in her home town.
The lieutenant governor was eligible for the vaccine under new guidelines issued by the state Health Department which decreed that persons 65 years and older could get the vaccine.
Crouch is 68 years old and is beginning her second term as Lieutenant Governor.
