Officers make a Sunday morning traffic stop and find more than they bargained for.
Police were on patrol about 2am yesterday (Sun) morning on at Elmandorf Avenue near Pollack when they see a car turn without signaling.
They talked to 30 year old Thomas Anthony Shelton and they saw a brown rolled cigarette in plain sight on the center console.
Shelton said it was pot and here were other things in the car.
After cuffing Shelton, a search turned up burn residue in a glass pipe found in the car along with several plastic bags and scales. Shelton had $13 hundred in his pockets.
He was jailed on possession and dealing charges.
