City officials are hatching a plan to provide internet access to blighted areas.
They hope to get financing through a 250-thousand dollar COVID-19 grant from Indiana’s Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
The money would be used to build and expand wi-fi access within the Evansville Promise Zone.
Prospective sites include the C-K Newsome Center, The Potter’s Wheel, and several locations in Jacobsville.
