For the first time, Vanderburgh County has been designated as a “red” county on the Indiana State Health Department’s coronavirus dashboard. Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke says the news should serve as a reminder.
The number of people allowed at a social gathering now drops from 50 down to 25. Bars and restaurants still operate under the same guidelines as before, but local officials do have the option to make adjustments to operating hours.
