Henderson County 911 Emergency Communications issued this update Saturday, Dec. 26, for AT&T users who have had service disrupted by the Dec. 25 explosion in downtown Nashville:
While users may not have service to call other contacts, AT&T customers should still be able to call 911 with an emergency. Henderson Emergency Communications 911 has not had any issues receiving 911 calls from AT&T users that they are aware of.
The emergency call should utilize another cell provider’s tower to place the emergency all. The 911 center encourages users to enable Wi-Fi calling in phone settings if you can and call 270-827-8700 if you do experience 911 issues.911, emergency,
