Officials say a road crew in Henderson found an injured dog with plastic around its neck in the median near the Zion exit on the parkway.
According to Henderson county animal control, the dog’s leg is broken in 3 places and it appears that the dog was put in a bag and thrown from a car.
Animal control officials say the dog will have surgery Monday and donations are being accepted.
