The Indiana State Board of Education has granted a pair of waivers requested by the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.
One changes the way that school year is calculated.
It allows the year to be measured in hours of instruction, instead of number of days.
It also approved a waiver that allows the EVSC to eliminate its annual performance report.
