While health care professionals at Deaconess Health System await the arrival of the COVID vaccine, they’re trying to put together a team qualified to administer it.
Deaconess plans to hire 10 to 15 workers who have some medical background.
Several retired workers have already reached out to help.
Candidates will need to demonstrate good social and communications skills, along with compassion and understanding.
Hires will be subject to training regardless of the level of their medical background.
