Indiana conservation officers say an Evansville man didn’t pay for timber leases on various properties in Posey and Gibson counties.
There were sixteen victims identified in those counties.
40 year old Christopher Collins is being held in the Posey County jail with bond set at $25-thousand cash.
Officers say Collins failed to pay more than $250-thousand for timber he contracted for over a two year period.
Investigation shows that Collins operated under several business names.
