An Evansville man is in jail after police find drugs during a traffic stop. 41-year-old Doyle Austin is facing several charges, including Dealing Methamphetamine, False Informing, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
Documents show Austin gave authorities a false name, and the plate on his car belonged to another vehicle.
Austin reportedly was angry, and shouting at authorities after being pulled over. Police say they used force to remove him from the car and place him into handcuffs.
Officials found three plastic bags. They say those bags contained 45.1 grams of methamphetamine and 9.8 grams of synthetic marijuana.
