The governor said the COVID spread in the Commonwealth is out of control, and church gatherings have been major spreaders of the virus.
Bishop William Medley of the Owensboro diocese says, though, that Catholic churches are practicing mask and social distancing techniques, and he is advising pastors not to suspend public worship.
