Henderson County schools will keep their athletes on the bench for a time during the winter sports season.
School Board members had previously approved a plan to allow winter play, but the recent spike in COVID cases forced them to take another look.
Yesterday (Mon) around 85 percent of Kentucky’s counties were in the red zone on the state’s COVID dashboard calling for difficult decisions on the part of officials in an effort to curb the spread of the virus.
Board members will re-think the decision in December.
