Evansville Police are still looking for information on a weekend incident that left one woman dead.
Initial 9-1-1 calls said merely that a car had run off the road in the area of Kentucky Avenue and Keck. A woman was found unresponsive inside the car, and efforts by officers and paramedics were unsuccessful.
It wasn’t until later in the investigation that it was discovered that she had suffered a gunshot wound.
She’s been identified as 33 year old Meghan Jews of Evansville.
Officers are asking anyone on the area who might have some security camera footage or any information that mnight shed light on the incident to contact them
