Evansville fire units are mopping up after an early morning fire.
It happened in the 1600 block of West Louisiana just before 4:00am.
Arriving fire units reported flames coming out of the first floor.
A neighbor said there had been people living there but was unsure if the home was occupied at the time of the fire.
Firefighters made short work of darkening the blaze down, and apparently no one is hurt.
