Henderson County’s boys soccer season ended in disappointment this weekend. The team had to forfeit its tournament game against South Warren because of quarantine.
“We all knew that when the season started, that there was (a chance) that this could happen to us,” said Colonels’ Coach Benson Pryor. ” It’s a tough pill to swallow that it ended our season. We should be proud of what we accomplished this year, and the craziness of the year, but it’s not not how you want to go.”
School officials say the entire team was put in quarantine after being exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
