A fifth person is facing charges elated to the murder of an Olney man.
Misty D. Whipple, 43, of Mount Vernon, Illinois is accused of having helped Rick Meador leave the jurisdiction while he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Whipple allegedly rented a van that was used for Meador to flee to Florida.
Meador, 18, of Olney, is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of Kyle M. Johnson. On September 6, Jhnson, was found at the intersection of North Walnut and East Laurel Street in Olney, with multiple gunshot wounds. He later died at the hospital.
Three other people have been arrested in connection to the investigation.
