Firefighters say a man was sent to hospital after being found in the Ohio River Saturday afternoon.
Water rescue crews responded to the Angel Mounds boat ramp on a report that a man had fallen into the river from a camp site just before 3pm.
Rescuers say the man had been in the water for ten minutes, or perhaps a little less, and drifted quite a ways down-river before he was found.
The victim had no pulse when he was pulled out of the water.
Rescuers performed CPR on him en-route to hospital.
