The Board of Trustees at the University of Evansville has issued a statement expressing its — quote — strong and unwavering support — unquote for U-E President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz.
This comes following a vote of no confidence this week by the Faculty Senate.
The Board’s statement questioned whether the faculty is acting in the best interests of the school,
saying they are “surprised and disappointed” by the vote.
At the heart of the dispute are realignment and possible downsizing plans.
