The University of Evansville Faculty Senate has passed a vote of no confidence with regard to President Christopher Pietruszkiewicz. (PET-ro-SKEV-itch)
The Senate also passed a resolution asking to be more involved involvement in the university decision to be more involved in the school’s evaluation process.
The school plans job cuts in the wake of the pandemic.
Pietruszkiewicz (PET-ro-SKEV-itch) issued a statement calling the vote “surprising and disappointing.”
The faculty as a whole is expected to take a confidence vote this week.
The U-E Board of Trustees is supporting the university President.
