Gibson County officers tried to serve a parole violation warrant on a man, but Myron Cook wasn’t having any.
He refused to open the door when officers knocked.
Authorities made an effort to gain entry and Cook finally unlocked the door.
That’s when police saw why Cook was hesitant about letting them in.
There, in plain sight, officers saw drugs and paraphernalia in the open.
The officers got a search warrant and found almost two pounds of pot.
Cook was booked into the Gibson County jail on the parole warrant, and faces numerous other charges including neglect of a dependent.
