The Frontier league, a professional baseball operation that includes the Evansville Otters among its 14 teams, has announced a partnership with Major League Baseball.
The partnership is a first for the Frontier League.
The announcement says the pact will permit expansion of the fan experience and will allow collaboration with the Majors in marketing and promotional initiatives to enhance the game.
M-L-B has taken on only three independent leagues as partners.
