Memorial High School will be dismissing today at 12:30, and will transition to virtual learning for the rest of the week.
A letter sent to parents says that five students and one coach have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Diocesan Office says it is following guidelines and instructions from the Vanderburgh County Health Department on contact tracing.
Nearly 130 students — more than 20% of the student body — are recommended for quarantine.
Students who need access to the internet can use the auditorium and media center by calling the school.
