Evansville resident Suzanne Crouch serves as Indiana’s Lieutenant Governor.
And while she spends the week in Indianapolis and other parts of the state, she comes home on the weekends.
This morning, Crouch delayed her return to the Hoosier capital to tour what she called a new kind of nursing facility.
Crouch, who has a history with the health care industry, both as a one-time nursing home worker and as a member of the Indiana General Assembly, toured a new building at Bethel Manor in Evansville Monday morning.
She says the new building at Bethel Manor will house only 12 patients, and will permit them to be treated in a much more home-like atmosphere.
Among the amenities, Crouch says the building features a miniature golf course and a game room.
The building opens to its first patients October 1
