An Evansville man is jailed on attempted murder charges.
20 year old Zakary Mullin is accused of stabbing his step-father several times in the torso during an apparent argument between his step-father and his mother.
Deputies say Mullin’s mother was getting some of her property when the spat ensued.
Investigators think Mullin went inside the house and got a knife and stabbed his step-father several times from behind.
Mullins reportedly confessed to the stabbing.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
